Description
This requirement provides non-development, non-commercial highly specialized sustainment/logistics services and highly specialized supplies (incidental) to ensure satisfactory mission and operational performance of the MOKITS system. MOKITS sustainment is responsible for two major components:
- the MOKITS “POD”, which is attached to the aircraft during flight and
- the MOKITS Surface Instrumentation Subsystem (SIS), which remains on the ground at all times.
External to these two components is the computers/applications used to prepare the system for operations and record/display the data. The complete system requiring sustainment will be referred to in this document as “MOKITS” and/or “POD” unless otherwise specified.
