Description
Notice of intent Healthcare Contracting Division – San Antonio, in support of Wilford Hall Medical Center intends to award a sole source contract to Premier Shockwave. for The OssaTron a medical device that delivers high-energy extracorporeal shock wave therapy (ESWT)—acoustic shock waves applied from outside the body. OssaTron is used for certain chronic orthopedic conditions that did not improve with conservative treatment, including: Chronic plantar fasciitis (persistent heel pain) Chronic lateral epicondylitis (“tennis elbow”).
The service being requested is for a five-year period. The NAICS code 334510 Electromedical and Electrotherapeutic Apparatus, Manufacturing size standard is 1,250 employees. This notice is neither a request for quotes nor a solicitation of offers; however, all responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered by the agency for future requirements.
