Description

The Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) issues solicitation amendment N00024-26-R-4421 A0001 for the execution of the USS MAKIN ISLAND (LHD 8) FY28 Docking Selected Restricted Availability (DSRA). This Signature Availability includes a combination of maintenance, modernization, and repair, and will require highly capable contractors with substantial facilities, to include capable pier (for the applicable ship class) as well as human resources capable of completing, coordinating, and integrating multiple areas of ship maintenance, repair and modernization.

This Signature Availability is solicited on a coast-wide basis on the West Coast under a single solicitation, and one (1) contract to complete the availability is expected to be awarded to one (1) contractor. Interested offerors should monitor the PlEE.gov and SAM.gov pages for the release of the solicitation and any applicable amendments, thereafter.
