Description
The Government is issuing this Area of Interest (AOI) under the Anniston Army Depot (ANAD) Commercial Solutions Opening (CSO) W911KF-25-S-C0001-0002 process to identify and acquire commercial equipment rental and facility support solutions. Authorized under Section 803 of the FY2022 National Defense Authorization Act (10 USC § 3458) and DFARS Subpart 212.70, this program allows the depot to rapidly secure commercial capabilities to meet operational needs.
The objective of this AOI is to establish fast, reliable, and flexible access to a wide range of operational, construction, industrial, and heavy equipment. This access is critical to mitigating facility disruptions, preventing depot bottlenecks, and ensuring continuous maintenance and production readiness. This CSO AoI seeks innovative commercial solutions that meet the objectives detailed in Section XX below.
In accordance with Revolutionary FAR Overhaul (RFO) Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS) 212.70, the term 'innovative' is defined as any technology, process, or method, including research and development, that is new as of the date of proposal submission, or any new application of an existing technology, process, or method as of the proposal date. CSOs may only be used to obtain innovative solutions or potential capabilities that fulfill requirements, to close capability gaps or provide potential innovative technological advancements, and when meaningful proposals with varying Technical or scientific approaches can be reasonably anticipated.
