Description
Notification of Sole Source Procurement. The Government intends to limit sources to the A/E firm URS-SmithGroup Joint Venture for additional Construction Phase Services (CPS) for the VA Louisville Medical Center project to be completed in Louisville, KY. URS-SmithGroup Joint Venture previously designed this project, and therefore have the highest level of familiarity with the design.
URS-SmithGroup has been performing CPS, such as responding to RFIs, reviewing submittals, updating drawings, and similar requirements throughout construction of the project. Using the services of URS-SmithGroup Joint Venture is the most logical and cost-effective course of action for the continuation of Construction Phase Services. This procurement is intended as a modification to the existing firm-fixed price contract for A/E services throughout construction of the project.
All responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation which shall be considered by the agency. Capability statement, proposal, or quotation must be submitted no later than 4:00PM Eastern Time on 4 November 2026 to [email protected]. This is not a request for proposal.
