This request is for a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) service contract. This Request for Information (RFI) is issued in support of an upcoming requirement under Commercial Solutions Opening (CSO) W912CH-25-S-C001. The Government's objective is to transition from traditional, reactive maintenance models to an innovative, modern, agile, and technology-driven operational framework that ensures the resilience, security, and environmental stability of the Museum.
The Government is seeking information on innovative commercial technologies, automated processes, and modern management methodologies that deliver outcome-based O&M across the Museum's facilities, roads, grounds, and exterior infrastructure. This includes, but is not limited to, the following key areas where innovative approaches are highly encouraged:
- Advanced Facility & Climate Control: Methodologies for ensuring preservation-grade environmental stability for artifacts, including the use of predictive analytics, automation, and condition-based monitoring to optimize existing HVAC infrastructure.
- Automated Grounds & Exterior Management: Modern solutions for turf care, automated irrigation, seasonal grounds preparation, and proactive pavement preservation (including snow and ice removal) to ensure year-round safety and mobility.
- Smart Building & Management Technology: Implementation of automated work-order tracking, digital asset management systems, and programming/maintenance of sophisticated architectural and theatrical lighting networks.
- Specialized Architectural Preservation: Advanced, non-degrading maintenance techniques for specialized architectural elements, such as the museum's purpose-built austenitic stainless-steel facades.
