Description
The Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) is conducting market research to assess the defense industrial base's capabilities and readiness regarding end-of-life battery recovery, reclamation, and critical mineral recycling. As the Department of Defense (DoD) executive agent for hazardous waste disposal and combat logistics, DLA must evaluate how new Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) universal waste regulations and Federal Executive Orders (including EO 14057 and EO 14110) impact the storage, transportation, processing, and domestic reclamation of military-grade and commercial batteries.
