Description
The purpose of this Statement of Work (SOW) is to outline the scope, deliverables, and responsibilities for the relocation of gear, machinery, and storage equipment from two existing warehouses (Bldgs. 54938/54805; 15160 Scrub Jay St Cape Canaveral Space Force Station, FL 32920) into an adjacent facility (Hangar AO; 60530 Hangar Rd Cape Canaveral Space Force Station, FL 32920) that is approximately 1/4 mile away.
This project requires careful inventory management, safe transport of delicate machinery, and precise placement to ensure minimal operational downtime for Detachment 3. Equipment to be moved includes, but is not limited to: sewing machines, cargo parachutes, personnel parachutes, boat motors, floatation rafts, Vidmar/toolboxes, supply cabinets, printers, storage lockers, and air drop-able rescue equipment packages that consist of jet skis and boats.
The target move-in date is 2 November 2026. (Target move in date is an outdated figure. Please disregard this detail in the statement of work.)
The government is instead requesting completion as soon as possible and no later than 30 days after award. See statement of work (SOW) attachment for full project description. Site Visit for this effort is mandatory as the governmnet will not be proving measurements of buildings and items to be transported.
Contractors are responsible to take all nessecary measurements themselves.
