East Bernard ISD is requesting bid proposals for the following services: Lit Fiber Service - A symmetrical lit fiber service with internet access to the district HUB at 723 College St., East Bernard Texas.

The proposal should provide pricing at the following bandwidth increments 1Gbps, 2Gbps, 5Gbps and 10Gbps. The solution must be scalable to 10Gbps.The district is seeking contract options for three and five years. Three and five year contracts should allow for upgrades to quoted bandwidth throughout the terms of the contract.Bids are due by the close of business on December 11th, 2026.
The due date may be extended by the applicant as a result of unforeseen circumstances. All solutions should include installation and initial configuration (if needed), a method to report service outages, receive basic technical support without additional service fees, and a service level agreement.Proposals that do not specifically address the services requested, are generic in nature or otherwise do not meet the requirements contained in this Form 470 are considered non-responsive.Bidders must provide a 498 ID# (SPIN).Any and all installation charges must be identified on your bid.If you submit a bid indicating that installation charges may apply without listing those charges, we will consider your bid incomplete and disqualify your bid.No phone calls will be accepted, all correspondence is to be by email and the District is under no obligation to respond to phone calls.All pricing provided in the bid should be in accordance with the Lowest Corresponding Price rule set forth by USAC.
