Economic Improvement Council, Inc. is seeking bids for Category 2 E Rate Eligible Internal Connections. No RFP is being issued; all requested equipment and services are listed below. Vendors may submit bids on any or all items.EIC requests pricing for the following Internal Connections components: Network Switches Quantity 25 Mix of 1524 port and 1048 port switches. PoE capable models preferred where applicable. Firewall Quantity 1 Next generation firewall capable of supporting organizational bandwidth, security, and filtering needs. Wireless Access Points Quantity 80 Indoor access points suitable for classroom, administrative, and common area coverage. Controller based or cloud managed solutions acceptable. UPS Units Quantity 16 Rack mount or tower units sized to support eligible network equipment. Structured Cabling Up to 30,000 feet Cat6/Cat6a cabling, terminations, connectors, patch panels, and installation to support eligible network equipment.EIC is also requesting: Managed Internal Broadband Services (MIBS) to support eligible network equipment. Basic Maintenance of Internal Connections (BMIC) for break/fix services, software updates, and manufacturer support for eligible components.All proposed equipment and services must comply with the USAC Eligible Services List for the applicable funding year. Vendors must provide itemized pricing, identify any ineligible components, and include all required E Rate documentation.
