Pleasant Ridge School District is seeking proposals for Leased Lit Fiber transport services to build a private multi-point Wide Area Network (WAN) connecting 3 of its district locations in Grass Valley, California. The goal is to establish multi-point connectivity between two school sites and the District Office, which will serve as the central aggregation point (hub).---Site Details:- Location 1 - District Office (Hub Site): 22580 Kingston Lane, Grass Valley, CA 95949. Requires at minimum a 1Gbps hub connection aggregating Locations 2 and 3. This site currently maintains a point-to-point circuit that serves as the district's on-ramp to the CENIC network via the Placer County Office of Education (360 Nevada St., Auburn, CA 95603). Internet access is already provisioned through this connection.- Location 2 - Alta Sierra: 16607 Annie Drive, Grass Valley, CA 95949. Requires at minimum a 1Gbps connection to Location 1.- Location 3 - Arete Charter Academy: 16229 Duggans Road, Grass Valley, CA 95949. Requires at minimum a 1Gbps connection to Location 1.---Service Requirements:- Provide a multi-point (not point-to-point) transport service connecting Locations 2 and 3 to Location 1 in a hub-and-spoke configuration, with Location 1 serving as the hub.- Each site (Locations 1, 2, and 3) must support a minimum of 1Gbps symmetrical bandwidth, scalable to higher speeds if needed.- Providers must include pricing for available higher-bandwidth tiers (e.g., 2Gbps, 5Gbps, 10Gbps) at each site so that bandwidth upgrades during the contract term are covered under this competitive bid.- The service must include all necessary electronics (lit service) and be fully provisioned and managed by the provider.- All bids and proposed solutions must include a service-provider-owned appliance installed at each location (Locations 1, 2, and 3), placed in the district's network rack within the MDF at each site. Each appliance will serve as the demarcation point for the handoff to the district's network at that site. Copper or fiber handoff is acceptable. All appliances must remain under the ownership and management of the service provider.- No internet access is requested as part of this service request.- Services must be eligible for E-Rate Category One under Leased Lit Fiber - transport only.- Providers must detail all one-time and recurring costs, along with any and all contract term options.
