The Genesee District Library (GDL) is soliciting bids from qualified providers for a service area wide network transport solution and for Internet access. The Headquarters building serves as the head end and meet point for the distribution of services between the Headquarters and the branch locations.Vendors are required to respond to the needs of each branch location at the addresses provided in the attached RFP. Each of the participating branch locations may have similar or varying requirements for bandwidth transport and vendors will be required to provide the monthly recurring transport charges, along with any one time construction costs and installation charges per erate guidelines.Instructions to Bidders:1. Bidders may bid for wide area network only, internet access only or both wide area network and internet.2. Sealed bid responses are to be received no later than 1 PM on November 16, 2026.3. Bids should be sent to:Genesee District LibraryAtt: Tony Rodriguez4195 W. Pasadena AveFlint. MI 485044. Sealed Bids must be labeled: Genesee District Library WAN and Internet access.5. Vendor must submit two copies of the bid response with pricing on the attached cost analysis sheets.6. The Bidder must include their valid erate SPIN in their response.7. The Bidder must also demonstrate that they are listed with the State of Michigan as a Competitive Local Exchange Carrier.8. All bids should reflect a contract term of 36 months.9.
