INTRODUCTION

Purpose
This Program of Requirements (POR) defines the space and technical requirements for the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS), Lower Mississippi-Gulf Water Science Center. The Government desires to lease a contiguous area of approximately 3,087 to 3,587 ANSI/BOMA Occupant Area (ABOA) square feet of office, laboratory, and light industrial shop space. Rentable Square Feet (RSF) will be calculated by applying the Offeror's proposed Common Area Factor (CAF) to the offered ABOA square footage. The information is here to assist the lessor in preparing their offers, square footages listed are approximate and are provided as a guideline for space layout and to ensure that the space offered will provide for an efficient layout and accommodate the needs of the U.S. Geological Survey in an efficient and effective manner. It should be noted that this POR has been developed prior to the award of a lease. When the space offered becomes available, it may be required to refine this program and make adjustments to accommodate the space offered.
