SECTION 1: GENERAL INFORMATION

This notice constitutes a combined synopsis and Broad Agency Announcement (BAA) for the acquisition of R&D in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation 35., “Broad agency announcement,” as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. No other solicitation will be issued. Only the information provided in this notice is available. Requests for other forms of solicitation shall be disregarded.
DLA is the primary agency that provides logistics and supply chain services to the military (Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine Corps, and Coast Guard). This BAA is focused on the Subsistence Network (SUBNET) Research & Development (R&D) Program, which seeks to improve the subsistence supply chain for the Department of War (DoW).
This BAA is limited to RDT&E activities associated with prototyping of existing industry technologies within the commercial marketplace and may not directly result in rapid production fielding. Final determination on the ability to successfully transition the existing commercial industry technologies into production and fielding will utilize a collaborative approach process that considers the overall transition/integration “value proposition” to DLA.
