Description
DLA Troop Support will issue an Unrestricted, Commercial solicitation for the Chlorate Candle NSN 4460-00-875-4568 and Ignitor 4460-01-043-7635. Multiple awards will be sought using Fair Opportunities Ordering (FAR 16.505). One or two long-term, Indefinite Quantity contracts are anticipated, each with a one-year base and four (4) one-year options.
Tradeoff source selection procedures will be utilized with Past Performance being evaluated as well as price. First Article Testing will be required for all offerors. All deliveries are to be FOB Destination to a CONUS DLA Depot (stock).
Request for Proposal (RFP) SPE8E7-26-R-0001 will be posted on the DLA Internet Bid Board System (DIBBS) AFTER November 15, 2026. Copies of the RFP/Solicitation can be obtained by accessing: https://www.dibbs.bsm.dla.mil/. From the DIBBS homepage, select "Search RFP/IFBs" from the top menu bar.
