Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation being issued under the authority of FAR Parts 12 and 13.5. The Library of Congress (Library), one of the largest libraries in the world with over 150 million items, is seeking a single award IDIQ contract to conduct various inventory tasks of Archival Master and Print Negative microfilm collection reels of vast newly acquired and retrospectively selected collections.

This is a critical component of the Library’s Preservation Services Division’s inventory management supply chain that requires the physical and intellectual verification of data elements to ensure accuracy based on the Library’s criteria. Please see the attached solicitation and its attachments for a full description of the requirement and proposal submission instructions. A site visit will be hosted on 11/09/2026.

Offeror questions are due no later than 11/13/2026 at 12:00 PM EST. Responses to offeror questions will be posted as an amendment to the solicitation at the same page where the solicitation and attachments are located. Proposals are due no later than 11/30/2026 at 12:00 PM EST.
