Description
This is a Sources Sought Synopsis (SSS) for market research purposes only and is not a request for proposal, request for quotation, or an invitation for bid. The 409th Supply Chain Management Squadron at Robins Air Force Base is seeking to identify potential sources with the technical expertise, qualifications, and capabilities necessary to provide repair and overhaul services for C-5 Moving Island Actuators.
Due to the critical flight safety nature of these components, the repair effort is restricted to approved sources. The government has attached the approved Source Qualification Statement (SQS) to this notice to allow potential alternative sources the maximum amount of time to review the technical requirements and initiate the qualification process. The Government is seeking to determine the market's ability to supply these repair services and to identify interested and qualified sources for a potential future competitive procurement.
Both large and small businesses are encouraged to respond.
