1. Scope of Work

The Contractor shall provide the following services in accordance with this Scope of Work and all contract drawings, specifications, and amendments. The work includes furnishing all labor, materials, equipment, supervision, and services necessary to complete the phased renovation and modification of the Sterile Processing Service (SPS) Area Located in the lower level of Building 500 Decontamination area as indicated on the drawings and specified herein. This renovation encompasses the 3rd Phase of renovations area as required by drawings.
1. The project consists of, but is not limited to, the following: a. Construction of new partitions to create a vestibule entry and support spaces. b. Installation of surface-mounted sliding door system at vestibule entry. c. Demolition of existing finishes, including removal of ceramic tile flooring and wall finishes.
d. Installation of new SPS-compliant seamless flooring and wall finishes. e. Installation of new and existing SPS equipment, including: i. Washer/disinfectors (Getinge 86 Series S-8666 / S-8668) ii. Cart washer (Getinge 9100 Series)
iii. Reprocessing sinks (AMSCO Model 50)
iv. Sterilizer loading car and transfer carriage (STERIS) v. Construction and fit-out of Detergents Room.
vi. Structural slab modifications.
vii. Plumbing, mechanical, and electrical modifications required to support new equipment and layouts.
viii. Installation of signage in accordance with VA standards. 2. Work shall include all incidental items required for a complete and operational system, whether or not specifically indicated.
