The requirement is for highly specialized, critical TSSC/TSCM services to protect national security assets which span several core areas, specifically: x
Technical & Inspection Services: Conducting physical, electromagnetic, and visual sweeps of Secure Compartmented Information Facilities (SCIFs) and restricted government spaces to detect and neutralize illicit surveillance devices.
x
Training Services: Providing specialized TSCM training and security awareness education.
x
Administrative & Analytical Services: Maintaining logs, documenting technical findings, managing reporting, and evaluating physical and technical security postures against evolving threat vectors.
x
Equipment Support Services: Upkeep, inventory management, calibration, and troubleshooting of specialized, highly sensitive TSCM equipment.
These highly specialized services, as mentioned above, are mission-critical, and a temporary bridge contract is required to prevent a severe break in service This action is critical to ensure the
seamless continuation of essential TSSC/TSCM services beyond November 2, 2026. This prevents any lapse in vital services that directly uphold DOE’s mission, long-term goals, and national security. A disruption in these services would significantly increase the risk of espionage, sabotage, and other malicious activities, directly threatening national security and potentially compromising critical energy infrastructure. This action will directly support DOE’s strategic investment in maintaining the integrity and security of DOE’s operations, sensitive information, and its core national security mission. x
