Additional Specifications and Requirements
- Products must be unscented.
- Products must be individually wrapped.
- All manufacturers must meet Federal Drug Administration (FDA) Class II medical device requirements, including facility registration, certification, device listing, Quality System Regulation (QSR) compliance, absorbency testing, Toxic Shock Syndrome (TSS) labeling, 510(k) premarket notification, and ongoing post-market monitoring.
- Vendors MUST submit the applicable 510(k) number for each item included in their proposal for the above materials, with their proposal. Vendors failing to submit this information will not be considered for these line items. 2.) Deadline of Wednesday, September 30, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. Eastern Standard Time, for questions remains unchanged.
3.) Questions submitted to date and their respective answers: 1. Can you please provide the current vendor information and pricing for these items? 2. Will this bid be awarded by item or as a whole?
A: See Document - “SV0236-26”, last paragraph on page 9. 3. Are we required to bid on every item to be considered for an award? A: No.
4. For the Business Management Questionnaire requirement, may recent commercial customer orders, invoices, purchase orders, or recurring customer sales be submitted as relevant past-performance references in place of formal contracts? A: Yes.
5. Please confirm whether the Government will accept offers from a small-business distributor that can provide the required commercial hygiene products, maintain U.S.-based vendor-managed inventory, provide product samples when required, and meet the delivery schedule to Bryan, Texas.
