Title: GROUNDS AND TREE MAINTENANCE SERVICES AT MARINE CORPS BASE

HAWAII (MCBH), CAMP H.M. SMITH, CENTRAL AND WEST OAHU AND VARIOUS

AREAS, OAHU, HAWAII

Pest Control Summary: The Contractor shall provide all labor, supervision, management, tools, materials, equipment, facilities, transportation, and other items required to perform pest control services at Marine Corps Base Hawaii (MCBH), Camp H.M. Smith, Central and West Oahu and Various Areas, Oahu, Hawaii. The integrated pest management (IPM) program is intended to emphasize surveys, establish control thresholds, and maintain documentation to track the effectiveness and safety of control efforts. IPM may include techniques such as education, habitat modification, biological control, genetic control, cultural control, mechanical control, physical control, regulatory control, and where necessary, the judicious use of leasthazardous pesticides. Pesticides, when needed, shall be selected consistent with IPM principles in order to minimize negative impacts on human health and the environment. The Contractor shall perform pest control services in conformance with the Integrated Pest Management Plan (IPMP) to prevent and control the following pests: --Unwanted vegetation and invasive plants
--Lawn, turf and ornamental and public health pests
Grounds Maintenance & Landscaping Summary: The Contractor shall provide all labor, management, supervision, tools, materials, and equipment necessary to provide grounds maintenance and landscaping services located at MCBH Kaneohe Bay, Camp H.M. Smith, and various locations throughout Central and West Oahu. And includes requirements related to prestige areas, lawns, fields, operational areas, and storm water system operation and maintenance, such as: mowing, trimming, edging, trash and debris removal, aeration, de-thatching, fertilization, irrigation systems operation and maintenance, tree maintenance, tree control, vegetation and weed control within the installation.
Procurement Method: Contracting by Negotiation. The NAICS Code for this procurement is 561730 and the annual size standard is $9.5 million. The contract term will be for a one-year base period plus four one-year option periods and one six-month option period, for a maximum duration of 66 months. The Government will not
