1.0 Background and Purpose:

Scientists at the Roman L. Hurska U.S. Meat Animal Research Center (USMARC) are developing scientific information and new technologies to solve high-priority problems for the U.S. beef, swine, and sheep industries. As part of the effort animals need to be adequately cared for and fed. We require 12 tons of soybean oil as an additive to the feed.

2.0 Scope:

The Contractor shall provide soybean hulls in the description and quantity listed.

3.0 Technical Requirements/Tasks:

Product: Soybean Oil (12 tons)
Product Specification: Crude Degummed Soybean oil with a minimum of 99.0% fat. Soybean oil must be delivered to USDA/ARS/USMARC; Clay Center, NE feed mill in tanker trucks. Truck drivers will need to coordinate with feed mill operations on delivery times and schedules but normal hours of 7:00am -3:30pm Monday-Friday are anticipated. Delivery must be within 30 days of contract award.

4.0 Place of Performance:

5.0 Period of Performance:

Within 30 days of award.

6.0 Government Furnished:

1) Access to the facility during normal business operations (Monday through Friday, 7:00 am to 3:30 pm)
2) Location for delivery.

7.0 Performance Requirement Measures:

Soybean oil in the specifications and quantities required within the listed period of performance.
