PROJECT IDENTIFICATION

A.

Project Name and Location: Loleta Recreation Area Water System Improvements – Phase 1. From the Marienville Ranger District Office located at 131 Smokey Lane, Marienville, PA 16239, travel southwest on PA-66 for 1.6 miles. Turn slight left onto South Forest Street for 0.7 miles. South Forest Road becomes Loleta Road just before the West Millstone Road and Loleta Recreation Area will be on the left. The campground entrance is signed. GPS coordinates of the campground are N 41.401944 and W 79.081111. The Marienville Ranger District Office has a phone number of 814-927-6628 and the Allegheny National Forest Supervisors Office has a phone number of 814-728-6100.

Project Summary Description: The project includes the installation of new water distribution piping, spigots, valves, concrete work, well house, modification of existing electrical service, selective demolition and other project supplemental items. Work includes, but is not limited to, the following:
