STATEMENT OF WORK

GAOA Star Meadows MEP, Repairs and Utility Installations Tally Lake Ranger District, Flathead National Forest

SECTION C – DESCRIPTION

C.1 PROJECT SCOPE

Description of Work: Work includes complete operational assembly of the following items. Hydronic Heating: - HVAC. This project requires submittal of specialized design and construction of heating system features in buildings. The work covered includes piping, pumps, and associated components used in boilers, hydronic coils, and radiant floor heating systems. Air Heating and Distribution: HVAC shall unify hydronic heat and air distribution by installing units, grills and ducts at appropriate locales, sized for quick response to heating and fan cooling demand. Air handling work includes sensors, temperature controllers, wire, hardware, brackets, valves, pipes, fitting, and filters. Propane Service: Install a concrete pad and propane yard-lines between a government supplied tank and appliances. Work includes all trenching, piping, regulator(s), shut offs, and the necessary code and manufacturer appurtenances required for complete and operational fuel delivery system. Interior plumbing for fuel supply to a boiler/on-demand water heater and new fireplaces. Propane Fireplaces: Install two new propane fireplaces to include all ductwork, venting, floor hearth, and wall shields. Water Supply: Retrofit the existing well to provide a complete pressurized water supply to the dwelling with functional distribution to a kitchen faucet. All appurtenance needed to complete a water service connection, including well casing pitless adaptor, installing a well pump, a water supply pipeline, and electrical pump controls are included work. Sewer Drain: Stub in new sewer drains for a toilet, shower, and vanity sink from the existing septic tank to the basement bathroom and maintain a connection to the kitchen sink. Miscellaneous: Utility locates, permits, demolition, excavation, and all other work shown in the plans, specifications, and schedule of Base and Option line items are incidental to this work.

C.3 GENERAL SPECIFICATIONS

Existing Facilities. All existing facility structures damaged by the Contractor shall be replaced or repaired by the Contractor at no additional cost to the Government. This includes any facilities inside or outside the project limits, including along any access routes.
