DETAIL SPECIFICATION

WEBBING, TEXTILE, WOVEN NYLON

This specification is approved for use by all Departments and Agencies of the Department of Defense (DoD).

1. SCOPE

1.1 Scope. This specification covers woven nylon, textile webbing. 1.2. Classification. The nylon webbing will be available in the types and classes as specified (see 6.2). The types will conform to the requirements as specified in Table IV and V as applicable for the class specified.
1.2.1 Classes.
Class 1
Class 1A
Class 2

- Shuttle loom, nylon 6,6
- Shuttleless loom, nylon 6,6
- Shuttle or shuttleless loom, nylon 6 or nylon 6,6

1.2.1.1 Class reference. When procurement documents referencing this specification do not specify the class of webbing, any class in paragraph 1.2 may be used.
