The existing double lane closure gate at Stove Prairie Landing serves as the closure device for seasonal restrictions at this site, prohibiting traffic from accessing the site. This gate totals 32’, spanning the entire width of the double lane by using two individual gates on either side with a locking mechanism securing the end of both gates in the middle of the roadway. There are two posts on either side of the road that hold the gate and provide the hinging mechanism and there are two other posts on both sides that provide support for the end of both gates when the road is open.
