This notice constitutes a Broad Area Announcement as contemplated by FAR Subparts 6.102(d)(2) and 35.016, DFARS 235.016, and the Department of Defense Other Transactions Guide, July 2023.

INTRODUCTION

This Broad Agency Announcement (BAA) is intended for proposal abstracts “for the acquisition of basic and applied research and that part of development not related to the development of a specific system or hardware procurement” according to Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 35. This BAA is not intended for the acquisition of technical, engineering, or other support services. This solicitation is specific to research and development support in technologies that are applicable to the following: air platforms, manned and unmanned payloads, advanced computing and processing, air platform support systems, advanced air system security and protection, and improved Naval air capabilities.
