PRESOLICITATION NOTICE – Initial Outfitting, Transition, and Activation Services in support of the Santa Maria, CA OPC
100% SDVOSB SET ASIDE
This is a Pre-Solicitation Notice that the Veterans Health Administration (VHA) intends to solicit quotes to provide non-personal Initial Outfitting, Transition, and Activation (IOT&A) services for the Santa Maria Outpatient Clinic (OPC). This requirement supports VHA's mission by providing contractor support services to help bring the hospital into full planned operations that will provide health care services to Veterans. This will be a firm-fixed-price contract with an estimated Period of Performance of 31-months.
VHA authorized a 28,656 net usable square foot (NUSF) outpatient clinic (OPC) lease project in Santa Maria, California. The project will support the parent facility, the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Greater Los Angeles Healthcare System. The new OPC will replace the existing clinic in Santa Maria, which currently contains 28,612 NUSF. The new clinic will be able to accommodate future workload, provide ample parking (200 spaces), and will adequately support all services in a modern, efficient space. The new clinic will provide all the services offered at the existing clinic, including Primary Care, Mental Health, Audiology, Eye Clinic, Dental, Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, Pathology and Blood Draw, Logistics, Telehealth, Business Office, Community Engagement and Reintegration, and Women's Health. This new facility is essential to accommodate the current demand of 6,634 Unique Santa Maria Veterans and the future potential demand of 7,500 Santa Maria catchment Enrollees
