The purpose of this amendment is to correct an oversight regarding license/certification requirements contained within VA Elevator Inspection Questions and Answers, and to extend the response date. The following question and incorrect answer were included in VA Elevator Inspection Questions and Answers:
The answer is hereby amended to: A current QEI certification satisfies the inspector-credential requirement, a state level inspector license is not required. See VA Elevator Inspection Questions and Answers- Amended, attached. The receipt date for offers is hereby extended from October 29, 2026, to 2:00pm ET, Monday November 2, 2026. The period to submit questions is closed.
