1. Purpose
The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Veterans Transportation Program (VTP), will host an Industry Day to engage with air and ground transportation brokers capable of providing Air Ambulance Broker with Supporting Ground Transportation Services nationwide. This Industry Day is not a request for proposal. It is a market research tool being used to determine potential firms capable of providing the services described herein prior to determining the method of acquisition. The purpose of this session is to:
Provide industry with an overview of the upcoming Air Ambulance Broker Services requirement. Offer vendors an opportunity to ask questions and provide feedback prior to release of the solicitation. Support industry’s understanding of VTP’s operational needs, compliance requirements, and contracting expectations as defined within the Performance Work Statement (PWS).
2. Requirement Overview
