Meyer Sound Laboratories uses proprietary sound mapping which creates a unique sound profile, discernible from the sound profiles created by other speaker manufacturer’s mapping type. Using another manufacturer would create incompatibility issues in processing the final audio product. Any proposed instrument and/or sound system acquisition on behalf of the U.S. Navy Band requires extensive product testing performed by each member. A great deal of research has been conducted by the U.S. Navy Band which resulted in the determination that only these linear array loudspeaker system components and services can meet the stated requirement.

‫ ܈‬The supplies or services must be compatible in all aspects (form, fit and function) with existing systems presently installed/performing. Describe the equipment/function you have now and how the new item/service must coordinate, connect, or interface with the existing system. The requested linear array system will be integrated with existing Meyer equipment currently in use for large scale concert productions by the U.S. Navy Band. Using any other manufacturer’s system will cause audio sound mapping incompatibility issues resulting in additional time troubleshooting during already limited set up time in the proposed venue.

‫ ܈‬A patent, copyright or proprietary data limits competition. Meyer Sound Laboratories utilizes proprietary sound mapping technology which blends perfectly with the Meyer brand sound system currently in use. The proposed brand has detailed sound mapping for the proposed venue which will save valuable set up time for the event.

‫ ܈‬These are "direct replacement" parts/components for existing equipment. The proposed brand will provide direct compatibility to augment the current system in use for this evolution.
