To meet Buy American, we plan to offer a US made 60 qt stainless steel stock pot with matching stainless cover. Its capacity matches the requirement, but its proportions differ from the nominal drawing dimensions: .Drawing (nominal): 17.75" diameter x 15.94" deep, 60.0 qt .Offered item: 16" diameter x 18" deep, 60 qt, 18 gauge 18-8 stainless, side loop handles, separate matching stainless cover with handle Could you confirm whether a 60 qt stainless pot with these dimensions would be accepted as an equivalent under the drawing's "or equivalent" note?”
A1. No the dimension will not fit in the footprint we need them to fit in.
Q2. “Does the pot require a lid?”
A2. Yes, according to note three on the print which says "cover with handle provided as shown"
