MDEO REVERSE INDUSTRY DAY

NOTICE # 36C10X27Q0018

This announcement is released by the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Enterprise Procurement Office (EPO), inviting contractors interested in providing services to the Veterans Benefits Administration (VBA), Medical Disability Examination Office (MDEO). VA anticipates conducting a series of general MDEO Reverse Industry Days with the goal of promoting engagement and learning about industry ideas and capabilities related to MDEO’s mission and operational needs. These events are to be general in nature, not in response to a specific MDEO requirement or upcoming contract action. VA anticipates other market research and/or industry days for specific new/recompete contract actions. The next General MDEO Reverse Industry Day is anticipated for December 2026 with future industry days planned at VA's discretion. All MDEO Reverse Industry Days are being conducted for market research purposes only.
VA will not discuss, accept questions or provide information regarding any open solicitation or active procurement, including procurements in evaluation, source selection or any other phase of the acquisition process, during these events. All procurement-specific inquiries must be directed separately through the official communication channels established by the contracting officer responsible for that procurement.

REVERSE INDUSTRY DAY ATTENDANCE:

The December 2026 General MDEO Reverse Industry Day will be held VIRTUALLY using Microsoft Teams. Exact dates and virtual meeting details will be sent directly to contractors scheduled to participate.
This event will consist of individual capability meetings that VA may schedule with interested contractors to present their specific ideas and capabilities directly to SAC-F and MDEO staff. These meetings are expected to be limited to 25 minutes and may include short demonstrations of products/solutions. The exact structure of the event will be determined at VA's discretion. The Government reserves the right to limit the number of contractor representatives and to decline to schedule individual meetings with respondents who are not actively registered in the System for Award Management (SAM.gov) or are otherwise ineligible for Federal contract awards. The Government may also decline to schedule meetings with respondents whose capability statements do not demonstrate services or capabilities relevant to the MDEO program. Responding to this notice does not guarantee a scheduled meeting.
