1. Contracting Activity

The agency is the Department of the Navy. The contract activity is Naval Facilities Engineering Systems Command Southeast (NAVFAC SE). The contracting office is NAVFAC SE, Resident Officer-In-Charge of Construction (ROICC), Naval Submarine Base (NSB) Kings Bay, Georgia. The requiring activity is Strategic Weapons Facility Atlantic (SWFLANT), NSB Kings Bay, Georgia. 2. Description of the Action Being Approved
NAVFAC ROICC Kings Bay is seeking approval to use Magnetek and Rueland name brand parts in a project to upgrade the electrical control system, pendant, and bridge drive system on overhead traveling cranes 8300330 and 83-00331 by replacing the existing relay-based systems with a new constant current variable frequency type system, new ergonomic style pendant and new inverter duty rated bridge motor at building located at NSB, Kings Bay, Georgia. The total anticipated cost for repair for this project is valued at .

3. Description of Supplies/Services

This project will award a task order to replace the existing electrical control systems on traveling cranes 8300330 and 83-00331 with new constant current variable frequency type system. This includes the replacement of the electrical control system, pendant, and bridge drive system on cranes 83-00330 and 83-00331 located at The projected award for this procurement is September 2026.
