SUBJECT: Sources Sought Notice for a Large CNC EDM Sinker DISCLAIMER: This Sources Sought Notice is for informational purposes only. This is not a request for quote. It does not constitute a solicitation and shall not be construed as a commitment by the Government. Responses in any form are not offers and the Government is under no obligation to award a contract as a result of this announcement. No funds are available to pay for preparation of responses to this announcement. Any information submitted by respondents to this announcement is strictly voluntary. INTRODUCTION: This is a Sources Sought Notice to determine the availability and technical capability of small and large businesses to meet the Government’s requirement for a new, fully functional Large Sinker EDM for the Arnold Engineering Development Complex (AEDC), Arnold AFB, Tennessee, in accordance with Attachment 1 – 1848 Large CNC EDM Sinker Specification Sheet.
The contractor shall provide all materials, labor, and equipment necessary to provide a new fully functional Large Sinker EDM Machine. Refurbished or remanufactured parts are not authorized for this requirement. Delivery is required within four (4) months after receipt of order. The machine must meet the technical requirements identified in Attachment 1.

Responses should include:

2. System for Award Management (SAM): Unique Entity Identifier (UEI) and Cage Code.

3. Business Size and Socioeconomic Status: Identify whether the firm is a small business and identify any applicable socioeconomic designations. 4. Capabilities Statement: Interested sources must submit a concise capabilities statement clearly demonstrating relevant experience and technical capacity to supply, install, and support comparable CNC EDM Sinker machines in accordance with the stated requirements. Responses should be brief, clear and supported by verifiable evidence of relevant past performance.
