Welcome to the Loch Raven VA Medical Center
It is our pleasure to welcome you to the Loch Raven VA
Medical Center, a division of the VA Maryland Health
Care System. The medical center offers specialized
inpatient, outpatient and primary care services. As a
leader in providing rehabilitation and skilled nursing
care, the Loch Raven VA Medical Center coordinates
the delivery of physical therapy, occupational therapy, kinesiotherapy and recreation therapy to achieve the
highest level of recovery and independence for Maryland’s Veterans. The center also provides hospice and nursing
home care to Veterans requiring non-acute inpatient care, in addition to offering specialized assistance for patients with Alzheimer’s disease and other forms of dementia.
This Visitor Guide provides a directory of services and patient care areas, maps of the campus, information about patient and visitor amenities, directions to the medical center, and a listing of important phone numbers.

Mass Transportation
To schedule, change, cancel or confirm a clinic
appointment, please contact the Appointment Center at
410-605-7333, Monday through Friday, from 7:30 a.m. to
4:30 p.m. To schedule an acute appointment, please call the Telephone Care Line Monday through Friday (except
holidays) from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at 1-800-865-2441. If you have a life-threatening emergency, immediately
dial 911.
Automatic Teller Machine (ATM)
There is an ATM available on the first floor of the
Community Living Center across from the Canteen Retail
Store & Deli.
Canteen Location & Hours
The Canteen Retail Store & Deli is located on the first floor of the Community Living Center and is open Monday
through Friday from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m.
