NOI SAM Sole Source

SOLE SOURCE NOTICE OF INTENT

The Defense Information Systems Agency/Defense Information Technology Contracting Organization intends to negotiate a sole source contract with GCR-DEAN LLC for a bridge contract for the Base Operations Support (BOS) services contract. A sole source Justification & Approval document has been coordinated and a copy of it will be posted on SAM.gov to comply with the public display requirements of FAR 6.301.
The proposed contract action is to support the Defense Information Systems Agency by providing recurring, preventative, and service-call maintenance of building, building components (i.e., all internal and external building systems and equipment), custodial services, refuse collection and recycling, grounds maintenance and pavement sweeping and snow removal for the DISA HQ facilities.
The statutory authority for other than full and open competition is 10 USC 2304(c)(1), as implemented by FAR 6.103-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. Quotations or proposals received in response to this notice cannot be accepted since this synopsis cannot be considered a request for quote or a request for proposal. A solicitation will NOT be posted to SAM.gov due to the sole source nature of the requirement.
The North American Classification System (NAICS) code 561210 will be used for determining company size status.
