SYNOPSIS - NOTICE OF INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE. This synopsis is hereby issued in accordance with FAR Subpart 5.1. The purpose of this synopsis is to announce the Naval Air Warfare Command Aircraft Division (NAWCAD) intent to issue a sole source contract modification to N00421-23-G-0005 / N0042124F0512 with Dayton T. Brown, Inc. of 1175 Church Street, Bohemia, New York using the statutory authority at 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1), Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements.

REQUIREMENTS:

PMA-262 program office has a requirement for additional mission systems hardware and software to address the existing systems Automated Digital Networking System (ADNS) in support of the Mobile Mission Systems (MMS) mission under the existing contract. This effort will provide support for research and development of new equipment, systems, and integration into future capabilities and configuration changes. This includes addressing failing, or faulty equipment, technology obsolescence, and supply chain deficiencies. Additionally, this effort will support the procurement and production of solutions to address system performance upgrades, obsolescence, and capability / capacity growth to support the MMS mission. The contractor’s effort will also include associated support activities and the procurement of materials and other direct costs (ODCs), and other applicable provisions. This action is limited to material procurement and continued performance within the scope of the current contract and does not introduce new mission areas or fundamentally new capabilities. This notice is published for informational purposes only and is not a request for quotes or request for information. A determination by the Government not to compete this procurement is solely within the discretion of the Government and the Government is not considering responses to this notice. These requirements are being pursued on a sole source basis under the statutory authority of Title 10, U.S.C. Section 2304(c) (1), as implemented by Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.103-1, ‘Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements.’ A
