Introduction
The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Flight Program Operations (AJF) performs multiple missions that require airborne operations, including Aviation Safety Training (AST); Flight Inspection (FI); Research, Development, Test and Evaluation (RDT&E) support; and Critical Event Response/Transportation. FAA Flight Program Operations requires contractor support to provide engineering, certification, Organization Designation Authorization (ODA), and project management services in support of aircraft modification, certification, continued operational airworthiness, and fleet modernization activities. These services support all FAA Flight Program aircraft platforms and are not limited to any single aircraft type, mission system, or modification program
