COMBINED SYNOPSIS SOLICITATION

The solicitation is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through FAR Class Deviation (Number 25-21) for FAR Part 12 in Support of Executive Order on Restoring Common Sense to Federal Procurement. This requirement is being solicited as a total small business set aside using FAR Part 12 Acquisition of Commercial Items. The NAICS Code is 336611 – Ship Repair with a small business size standard of 1,300 employees. The solicitation number is 70Z08526QIBCT0068.

SCHEDULE OF SUPPLIES/SERVICES: Continuation of SF1449, See Attachment 1.

DESCRIPTION OF WORK: The contractor is to provide all necessary materials, equipment, and personnel as necessary to perform Drydock repairs to the U.S. Coast Guard Cutter USCGC Pamlico (WLIC-800) FY27 Drydock Availability 160’ Construction Tender homeported in New Orleans, LA, all in exact accordance with this solicitation and the attached specification. (See Attachment 2).

CONTRACT TYPE: This solicitation is an RFQ that will result in the award of an Indefinite Delivery - Requirements Contract (IDR) solicited under FAR PART 12, subject to availability of funds. Under this contract, the Coast Guard will issue task orders to the contractor.

CONTRACT PERIOD OF PERFORMANCE: The performance period for this requirement starts on or about 09 March 2027 and with a projected end date on or about 18 May 2027.

TASK ORDER (TO):

(a) Task orders will be issued in accordance with FAR Clause 52.216-18 Ordering.

(b) A task order is the contractual instrument issued by the Government to the Contractor for services placed against an established contract. The Government reserves the right to issue task orders bilaterally on Order for Supplies or Services Form, OF 347.

(c) Modifications to task orders may be required. Modifications are issued pursuant to specific standard clauses contained in the basic contract or the task order.

PLACE OF PERFORMANCE: The place of performance shall be at the Contractors Facility.
