OPERATIONS PLAN (Version 2)

1. PURPOSE

The SOP establishes procedures, guidelines, and responsibilities as described for airfield operations in compliance with applicable Army Regulations and manuals. quick and coordinated rescue efforts for aircraft accidents on or near the Fort Bliss Military Reservation. This plan includes accident investigative functions and test/exercise procedures to ensure currency.

2. SCOPE

This plan applies to all aviation units operating from Fort Bliss, and to all Fort Bliss personnel and activities assigned responsibilities in support of this plan. This plan will be employed to the extent required for any airfield operations on Fort Bliss military reservation or within the geographical areas. 1. PURPOSE: This Safety Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) formally establishes the safety program section for Biggs Army Airfield (AAF) Airport Operations Manual (AOM) in order to minimize aircraft and ground mishaps.
