The attached preliminary plans are being furnished to aid prospective Offerors in identifying the location and type of work for this project. The project will be advertised during a period when viewing of the project may not be possible due to snow. Therefore, prospective Offerors are encouraged to view the project during fall as conditions permit. After November 1, 2026, access may not be available. No Federal Highway Administration personnel will be available for showme tours. Two Bid Schedules and one Option - The work will be solicited under two schedules and one Option. One schedule will be awarded. See the Project Description document posted on SAM.gov under “Attachments” for additional details.
• Schedule A consists of mainline construction with a 22-foot typical section pavement width and reconstruction of Norris Geyser Basin parking lot. • Schedule B consists of mainline construction with a 30-foot typical section pavement width and reconstruction of Norris Geyser Basin parking lot.

Option Z consists of grading, base, pavement, major drainage, and steel boardwalk on the Rustic Falls Boardwalk and the Osprey Pit Road Box Culvert.
Project Location and Type of Work - All project work is located along the Grand Loop Road in Yellowstone National Park. The purpose of this project is reconstruct the 0.7 mile roadway section and adjacent visitor facilities. Work items include excavation (blasting) at Golden Gate,
