PURCHASE DESCRIPTION (PD)

FOR
Fluke MET/TEAM and MET/CAL Software and Hardware System Upgrade

1.0 SCOPE OF REQUIREMENT

The contractor shall deliver a standardized commercial hardware and software upgrade package to expand and modernize the existing Fluke MET/TEAM and MET/CAL calibration management system across all authorized RSAF PMEL facilities within the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

2.0 HARDWARE REQUIREMENTS & MINIMUM SALIENT CHARACTERISTICS

The contractor shall provide commercial-grade computer hardware that meets or exceeds the following technical specifications. All hardware must be fully certified by the original equipment manufacturer (OEM) to support Fluke MET/TEAM Server and MET/CAL Client software environments.
2.1 Rackmount Calibration Management Server (Quantity: 1 EA) Reference Baseline: Dell PowerEdge Enterprise Rack Server or OEM-Certified Equivalent (Fluke P/N: 603624 baseline standard)

Form Factor: 1U or 2U Rackmount with sliding rail kits and cable management arm. Processor (CPU): Minimum Intel Xeon Silver (or AMD EPYC equivalent), 8 cores / 16 threads, base clock ≥ 2.4 GHz.
Memory (RAM): Minimum 64 GB DDR4/DDR5 ECC Registered RAM (expandable to at least 128 GB).
Storage Configuration: Minimum 2 × 960 GB Enterprise SATA/SAS/NVMe SSD configured in hardware RAID 1 (Mirrored) for OS and MET/TEAM database operations.
Controller: Dedicated Hardware RAID Controller with minimum 2 GB batterybacked/flash-backed write cache. Network Interfaces: Minimum 4 × 1 GbE RJ-45 ports or 2 × 10 GbE SFP+/Base-T ports.
Power Supply: Redundant, Hot-Plug Power Supplies (1 + 1), 100--240 VAC autoswitching. Operating System: Microsoft Windows Server (latest supported LTS release compatible with Fluke MET/TEAM, 64-bit), with standard OEM server licensing.
