Availability of Roller Track Drawings:
Ques ons: Could you please confirm whether a drawing or print is available? If not, please confirm that suppliers should quote based solely on the specifica ons provided in the RFQ. Answer: There is no drawing applicable to the roller tracks, offerors are encouraged to quote solu ons mee ng the technical specifica ons in the RFQ. A sketch of the exis ng Government shelves has been iden fied herein.
Material, Spacing, Width, Speed, Weight requirements
Ques on: Do the required wheels/rollers need to be steel or ABS? Answer: Steel, ABS, or Alterna ve durable, impact-resistant materials are all acceptable. Material specifica ons have been clarified in solicita on Amendment 0001 Ques on: What is the required wheel/roller center spacing? Answer: Center spacing shall be less than or equal to 6 inches apart. Spacing specifica ons have been clarified in solicita on Amendment 0001
Ques on: Please confirm the required channel size/profile for the wheels/rollers. Answer: Please refer to the specifica ons in the RFQ for channel width requirements. Ques on: What is the length of conveyor?
Answer: Please refer to the specifica ons in the RFQ for length requirements. Ques on: What is the desired opera ng/conveyor speed?
Answer: Rollers must rotate freely under standard hand-push loads. Ques on: What is the es mated maximum weight or load per linear foot (or maximum weight per individual roller) the track system must support under standard gravity-feed/hand-push condi ons?
Answer: Each linear foot of the track assembly must be capable of suppor ng a minimum load of 2.0 lbs. Weight requirements have been clarified in solicita on amendment 0001 Ques on: Are the tracks intended for indoor, dry condi ons, or are there moisture, salt, temperature, chemical, corrosion, cleanliness or sta c-control requirements?
