Solicitation Number: 12444527Q0007
Facility: Eleven Point Ranger Station, Mark Twain National Forest Amendment: 0001
The questions and answers below provide clarification of the solicitation. They do not change the solicitation unless expressly incorporated by formal amendment. If any answer conflicts with the solicitation, the formal solicitation amendment controls. Quoters remain responsible for reviewing the complete solicitation, all attachments, and all amendments. Quoters must acknowledge the amendment and submit quotations by the deadline stated in the amendment. Facility Specifications & Cleaning Scope
Question:
Please confirm the total building area and split between carpeted and hard-surface flooring. Answer:
The facility consists of a main floor and a basement level, with a combined area of approximately 10,000 square feet. The solicitation does not provide a separate square-footage breakdown for carpeted and hard-surface flooring. Quoters are responsible for determining the labor, equipment, and materials necessary to perform the PWS requirements. Question: How many restrooms, breakrooms, and specialized areas are within the cleaning scope?
Answer:
The solicitation does not provide a numerical count of restrooms or separately identify every room by cleaning category. The cleaning scope includes the restrooms, breakroom/conference room, kitchen area, computer room, and other areas identified in the PWS and Attachment C, Office Map. Restrooms and applicable cleaning requirements are addressed in PWS §§ 1.14 and 1.1A.20. Quoters should review the PWS and Attachment C when preparing their quotations.

Question:
Are periodic floor-care tasks, such as stripping/waxing VCT or carpet deep-shampoo extraction, or exterior window cleaning required?
Answer:
The PWS does not specifically require floor stripping, waxing, carpet extraction, or exterior window cleaning. The required floor services include sweeping, dust mopping, damp mopping, wet mopping, vacuuming, and scrubbing as necessary to meet the applicable performance standards. The PWS also requires cleaning of interior glass and mirrors. The expressly identified periodic service is washing and disinfecting trash containers at least twice annually. Subcontracting and Performance Arrangements
Question:
