This Request for Proposals (RFP) is for Smithsonian Institution's National Zoological Park (NZP) Construction of Phase 2 - Habitats & Animal Care Building for the Arabian Leopard Facility (ALF) (SF Project # 2533105), located at 3001 Connecticut Ave NW, Washington, DC 20008. Phase 1 - Early Site was solicited previously from IDIQ Contractors, has been awarded, and is in progress. At the conclusion of Phase 1, the successful offeror will be expected to take over responsibility from the Phase 1 General Contractor for site logistics and overlapping scope, including, but not limited to, the laydown area, erosion and sediment control (E&S) measures, the sound wall, and temporary utilities. The Contractor receiving the award shall provide all supervision, labor, materials and equipment necessary to perform construction services to complete the work as described in this RFP below and the Contract Documents (as defined in Section B of this RFP), including, without limitation, the Drawings and Specifications for SF Project No. 2533105 dated June 15, 2026, attached hereto as Appendix 1-2.
