Sole Source Synopsis

SYNOPSIS

The 45th Contracting Squadron, Patrick Space Force Base (PSFB), intends to award a sole source contract to Spyder Crane for the delivery of Portable Crane for Aircraft. This action is being pursued in accordance with FAR 13.1061(b)(1), which permits soliciting from a single source when the contracting officer determines that only one source is reasonably available. As required by FAR 5.207(c)(15), market research confirms that Spyder Crane is the only source capable of delivering a Portable Crane for Aircraft. These services are essential to support 920th Resue mission operations. The applicable NAICS code for this requirement is 333923.

In accordance with FAR 5.207(c)(16)(ii), all responsible sources may submit a capability statement which shall be considered by the agency. The capability statement must state the exact part number and associated training requested can be delivery as specified on the SOW. This notice is not a request for competitive quotes; however, any responses received within 7 days of this publication will be reviewed. The Government will not reimburse any costs incurred in responding to this notice. All expenses associated with responding will be solely at the interested party’s expense.

Based on the results of market research, 45 CONS/PKB has determined that Spyder Crane is the only source capable of meeting the Government’s requirements. No solicitation documents exist at this time. Phone inquiries will not be accepted.
