This Solicitation is for: HTFW PUMP Parts for STBD 1
SOLE SOURCE STATEMENT: This acquisition is a sole source requirement to Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) ECI DEFENSE GROUP IAW Revolutionary FAR Overhaul (RFO) 12.102 Restricting competition. The sole source is the only responsible source because the parts are critical components of the
onboard HTFW Pump for the #2-Ship's Service Diesel Generators. This is the cooling pump for the engines without which the engines cannot run. The requested parts are direct replacement components that must match in form, fit, and function. NOTICE TO ALL OFFERORS: The Government anticipates awarding a firm-fixed-price Supply-type Purchase Order in accordance with Revolutionary FAR Overhaul (RFO) Part 12 in response to quotes received as a result of this solicitation. A firm-fixed-price contract places the maximum risk and full responsibility for all costs and resulting profit or loss on the contractor, offerors are advised to consider these risks when pricing their quotes.
See block 8 on page 1 of the solicitation for the closing date and time. The deadline for submission of questions regarding the solicitation's terms, conditions, specifications, and/or the statement of work (SOW) / performance work statement (PWS) is one 24 hours prior to the solicitation closing date. All responsible sources may submit a quote or offer prior to the solicitation closing date. See block 9 on page 1 of the solicitation for the Contracting Official. Please include the Primary and Alternate Point of Contacts identified on SAM. gov in all email communication(s).
