Project Background:
The USDA APHIS PPQ roof needs replacement due to its age and level of deterioration. There have been reported leaks that have worsened over the last several thunderstorms in the area. This SOW details the damage and need for replacement. The building is approximately 110’ in length and 25’ wide. It is sided with Vertical “Standing Seam” Galvanized panels and has a composite shingle roof. The gutters in the photos below show that the gutters are not working due to being full of pine needles, but this has since been remediated.
A Site Visit by all interested participants is advised prior to submittal of Proposal.

This Statement of Work (SOW) is for a roof replacement only. Work not included in this SOW will not be authorized.

3.0 SCOPE OF CONTRACTOR SERVICES: Specific Contractor services to be provided under this task order are summarized below.

Roof Preparation
• Remove all existing shingles and roof system down to the decking.
•
Roof Decking
• Inspect decking and replace deteriorated wood at:
per linear foot (standard sheathing grade)
per sheet of 7/16" OSB
• Contractor shall include replacement of three sheets of 7/16" OSB or three 1x6x12
