1.0 Introduction

1.1 Background

The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Port Hueneme Division (NSWC PHD) is seeking to procure the Launch Control Unit (LCU) MK 235 Mod 1 7 NAVSEA part number (p/n) 7104280-179 and associated Lowest Replaceable Units (LRU) for MK 41 VLS. LCU is the control link between the ship’s combat system and the MK 41 launcher hardware; it helps ensure the selected missile cell is properly configured, monitored, and ready before launch.

1.2 Scope

The Contractor shall be responsible for the satisfactory and timely performance of all tasks defined in the SOW. This SOW, with its supporting attachments and referenced documentation, describes the requirement for the fabrication, assembly, test and delivery of VLS LCU.

1.3 Program Authority

NSWC PHD is the program authority for this contract.

2.0 Applicable Documents

The documents listed below are part of this SOW to the extent described herein, including all relevant terms, conditions, clauses, attachments, and exhibits. ln case of any conflict between the referenced documents and the contents of this SOW, the SOW will take precedence as the governing requirement. The contractor will apply the version of governing documents in effect at time of contract award. If there are post award changes to these documents the Contracting Officer will decide if the new versions will be implemented.
